Please mind the gap. Songs inspired by the MTR

Steve James's fun sing-along YouTube sensation, "The MTR Song." Too bad Hong Kong doesn't have its own national anthem (SAR-anthem?) because this could be it. It's totally us: Practical, catchy, and features a combination of Cantonese street names and ridiculously plummy British accent not found anywhere else on earth.

And for the artsy among you, "Monolake - Mass Transit Railway." Written & Produced By Robert Henke And Gerhard Behles. HQ Audio in 1997. Remember 1997? Patten weeping as the rain poured down outside?
